In order to figure out what you need to know for a course, think about what the concepts are and what the skills are. If you aren't sure, ask your teacher.
Quick Tips:
- If a teacher repeats something 3 times, it will most likely be on the test.
- If a teacher says, "this is important," it will be on the test.
- If the teacher says, "pay attention," s/he means that it is important for you to understand in order to do well on the test.
- Homework is often practice for a test.
- And the tests are all about the concepts and the skills.
